Mission Statement:

 is a band of four men taking pride in their art, 
sharing a common belief that music should make one
feel and think.

Gathered from Chicago, Boston and Southern California,
Egodog fuses a wide array of influences into a cohesive
sound, from the Beatles to Soundgarden, Tool to
Queen. The four members of Egodog are schooled
and versatile musicians, with a common respect
and reverence for the song.

Their three independently financed and produced releases,
"Free in Captivity" (1997), "Words Are Kerosene" (2000)
and "The Pleasure of Action" (2001) contain songs of strength, conviction, and unwavering individuality.

For over two years, Egodog has been touring for
the U.S. Department of Defense, proudly entertaining our
hard-working soldiers overseas.

With hitherto underexplored "rock musician" sensibilities like
patriotism, work ethic and tenacity, Egodog aspires to
nothing less than setting a new precedent in the rock world.
